Now that summer is approaching and the warmer weather is creeping in. We are here to tell you that it's not all strawberries and cream at Wimbledon, it also deliciously creamy and silky, handcrafted Gnaw chocolate smothered over juicy red strawberries. Whether you like to dip your strawberries in melted chocolate or have them cool off and set in the fridge, Gnaw chocolate is always the answer! here is a quick step by step guide if you want some ice cold covered strawberries this summer:
Select your favourite Handcrafted Gnaw Chocolate Bar (I have a SWEET tooth, so I always go for salted caramel). To melt the chocolate, fill a pan with water and bring to a simmer. Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and rest on top. Stir the chocolate throughout. Once this has melted place the melted chocolate in a small bowl.
Gently hold the strawberries by the leaves and dip into the chocolate. Hold above the bowl to watch that dreamy chocolate slowly fall off the strawberry. Rotate whilst this is falling to maximise the amount of chocolate left on the strawberry. Place the strawberries onto parchment paper. If for some reason you have chocolate left over! Pour it onto another strip of parchment and leave it to set, it can be used again. Or if you are like me and just love chocolate, this makes for a very tasty but thick hot chocolate!
If you'd like to decorate the strawberries, melt another type of chocolate, either dark, white or whatever you fancy and drizzle lightly over the fruit.
